Lauren V. Humphries ’08 Speaks to Business Students About Cryptocurrency

The Lasher Center for Business and Entrepreneurial Studies was delighted to welcome Lauren V. Humphries ’08 back to Berkeley on January 30. As Counsel at Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney PC and a respected speaker on cryptocurrency, she presented Beyond the Block: A Lawyer’s Guide to Bitcoin to our Upper Division Business Fundamentals, Accounting, and Financial Mathematics students. Lauren provided a compelling overview of Bitcoin and cryptocurrency, examined key legal challenges and regulations, and shared valuable insights from her experience in this rapidly evolving field.
